The Vietnamese singer Duc Phuc won the competition for the Russian intervention song on Saturday, which was held in Moscow.

Vietnam was among the 23 countries participating in the competition of the Soviet era, relaunched by President Vladimir Putin three years after the ban on Russia because of its large -scale invasion of Ukraine.

Putin said he was convinced that the event would become “one of the most recognizable and loved events in the world”.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine said that he had envisaged the 2025 intervention “a hostile propaganda instrument and a means of bleaching the aggressive policy of the Russian Federation”.

China and India were among the participants, but the singer of Australian origin Vassy, representing the United States, withdrew at the last minute due to “unprecedented political pressure from the government of Australia,” the organizers said.
