The White House retains a “loyalty” dashboard for companies: report

The White House has created a spreadsheet that assesses hundreds of companies for their loyalty, according to a new Axios report. And although this is not entirely shocking news, given the way Donald Trump does business, it is worth taking a step back and asking how the news of a loyalty dashboard by an exercise president would have been received in the pre-trump era.
The rankings on the loyalty calculation sheet are currently determined by the perceived support of a company given to the so-called Big Beau Bill, a budgetary package which succeeded in July and is about to exceed health care of at least 17 million people while reducing taxes on the richest Americans. This support is evaluated by Social media stations, press releases, advertisements and more, according to Axios.
The spreadsheet contains 553 companies and commercial organizations, each obtaining one of the three support notes for Trump: strong, moderate or weak. Examples of companies that were “good partners”, according to Axios, understand Uber, Doordash, United, Delta, AT&T and Cisco.
And although it is quite possible that the rankings are only determined by public support displays, it is impossible to ignore the financial contributions that these companies have often made to Trump. AT&T, Delta, United, Uber and Uber CEO Dara Khosrowshahi each contributed $ 1 million to Trump’s inaugural committee, according to CNBC. Doordash contributed $ 100,000. Cisco did not give a donation to the inauguration of Trump, but spoke in a fun way of the president shortly after his elected official in 2024.
Trump insisted on loyalty to his far -right program and decided to crush anyone who is not queuing. This includes some of the largest companies in America, who conscientiously met Trump to kiss the ring and sing his praises. Apple CEO Tim Cook, who also donated $ 1 million to Trump, visited the White House to announce new expenses in the United States and even gave the president a piece of glass with the Apple logo with a 24 karats gold base. This is the kind of sticky gesture that Trump loves – symbolies that clearly shows that the king is in charge.
Axios quotes an unnamed white house source which describes the loyalty calculation sheet as an “evolving” document, and support for other initiatives beyond the major bill will be included in the future. And Axios notes that it will be used whenever lobbyists approach the Trump diet with requests. “If groups / companies wish to start defending more tax bill or additional administration priorities now, we will take this into account in our ranking», The manager of the White House is cited as saying Axios.
It all looks like a mafia style operation, of course. But it’s no secret. Trump has always been a transactional president and does not hesitate to shake anyone who, according to him, is not sufficiently proceeding to his whims. Even if Trump does not like someone, he seems willing to bring them back to the “faithful” camp as long as he plays.
For example, Trump recently criticized the CEO of Intel, Lip-Bu Tan, the caller “very conflicting” and insisting that he had to resign for bonds supposed with China. Tan denied allegations, met Trump, and now we have Bloomberg reports that the US government could take advantage in Intel and could use CHIPS ACT funds to do so. We don’t know exactly what happened there, but we can make educated assumptions. If you want to do business in the United States, you have to pay your tithe to the Trump Empire in one way or another. Unfortunately, Trump’s Empire is not only its collection of private companies these days. He sees the whole country and all his richness like his for taking.
Trump is also working to obtain a 15% reduction in Nvidia and AMD on fleas sent to China in what is characterized as a “income sharing agreement”. This agreement seems unconstitutional, according to Fortune, but that does not seem to have any importance in the long term. The government of Trump breaks blatant the law, there is sometimes an prolonged legal struggle, and it continues to push the limits while the courts which are stacked with its own judges debate the finest points.
The American public was absolutely scandalized when he learned about the list of enemies of President Richard Nixon in 1973. But in the second era Trump, this type of fidelity classification of the White House is only a small drop in an ocean of bizarre short stories that challenge standards from another age.
