This AI box allows you to search for the images of your security camera using a text prompt

Switchbot had some devices fueled in AI displayed at Ifa 2025; Not just a small fur robot (I picked it up and it is not cuddly). They understood an exhibition in Ink Ai Art, which generates Ai Art on Demand, a tennis robot ai against which you can “play” the matches and some robot emptiness. We are going to get to all this, but the main thing that drew my attention was the Switchbot Ai Hub.
It’s not that others are not interesting – of course they are – is that I like good and easy automation. The promise of the Center of AI is twofold: it can access Switchbot Vision Language Model (VLM) – such models can interpret visuals and text at the same time – permanently natural language prompts that you can use both to configure automation and search for sequences of connected security cameras for the events they have recorded in its internal storage. He only supports Switchbot cameras for the moment, although the company said that it could change later.
Some examples include HUB AI request, via the Switchbot application, when you left your phone somewhere in your home or when your dog has come out. You can also define it to trigger automation according to the events he identifies, as alert you that your dog has escaped. As for this local storage, the AI center is delivered with 32 GB, but this is extendable up to 1 TB using a microSD card location on one side or one of the USB-C ports at the rear.
Unfortunately, automation using the IA center will cost money because you will need a subscription to a cloud plan that the company will make its debut in October, according to a Switchbot representative. They told me that the price was not yet fixed. The HUB AI works with more than 100 devices and supports the question if you have a material bridge device. It can also connect to a screen and show you the real-time flows of eight Switchbot Switchbot 2K-Resolution cameras.

Now on AI frames. These use ENK Spectra 6 colored displays, and at least under the lively lights of the IFA show floor, they are very convincing as art impression. They are available in 7.3 inch, 13.3 inch and 31.5 inch sizes, last up to two years on a load and are compatible with IKEA frames, so you don’t need to use those they come.
As for what the screen shows, it is, well, ai art. This means that you can describe the art you would like to see, using the Switchbot application, and it will show it on the frames. You will look at the art which is an approximation of something that a human has created, which was very obvious when I saw the executives – both were clear simulacrums of “the self -portrait of Vincent Van Gogh with a bandaged ear” and “The Starry Night”. Soul, but personally, I would be much more interested in paying a subscription to a service that puts real paintings on my ENK E screen.
Finally, the accelerating tennis robot. It is like a standard tennis shot robot with a net to target, except that it can roll around the field to catch your balls and simulate another player sending them by pulling another ball on you. The company claims that this machine “uses double 4K double binocular cameras and advanced algorithms to follow services, yields and gatherings with accuracy in terms of centimeters”. He can predict where your ball goes and go there up to 5 meters per second, responding to 0.15 seconds.

The demonstration space that the company created for this was … less than ideal. He was cramped and flanked by loose nets which kept catching up the wheels of the acmemate. But even in such an annoying environment, it did a surprisingly good job swinging around the field to try to catch the balls (sometimes even successfully!) Which was struck there by a human tennis demonstrator on the other side. When each ball reached him, another ball was flying from the bottom almost immediately. It was convincing, and I could certainly see this thing use to practice if you have no friends with whom to play.
Switchbot indicates that the accessories are used (not expected word game) as an AI tennis coach, capturing information on the speed of the ball, the spin, the net clearance and the placement, then gives you comments using the ACEMATE application for iOS and Android phones. The company even integrates the Apple Watch to compare biometric data into the statistics of the matches played with the robot.
Acmemate can operate up to three hours at a time and contains 80 tennis balls. You can adjust the operation, of the configuration of 20 target zones to adjust its rotation and speed depending on your capacity.
Switchbot revealed neither pricing nor availability for any of the products. I asked the company and we will update when we will know more.
