This solar energy dashcam looks at your car while you are “being” in Europe

I remember when I had a car. I lived in Queens, and avoid tickets was an absolute nightmare-that is to say until I was informed of a neighborhood cheat code. There was a street in a way near the place where I lived where I could just Leave my car – No Alternative side parking, predetermined hours, nothing. Of course, I went directly there and I parked my car and I did my best to forget that I had one until I needed it. I thought of this car every day. Was it still there? Was it broken into pieces? Removed by extraterrestrials? Has a package of wild rats has been full of too much and he said “Ratopia”? My point is that there is anxiety to leave your car, whether we wanted it to be or not, and although we cannot be omnipresent, a vigilant eye would be the next best thing.

In this vein, a new solar energy security camera of bases – the same company that manufactures these intriguing wireless headphones launched at IFA this month – seems specially designed for people who wish to leave their car for long periods but also keep it an eye. Baseus invoices the PrimeTrip VD1 Dashcam (which is actually two cameras for the front and back of your car) as the first to offer a “parking monitor without wiring.” It is thanks to what he calls a “solar synchronization system” which uses a small high -efficiency solar panel to justify the camera battery, which allows him to remain supplied without being loaded by a car battery.

But it is not completely defined and forget it. According to Baseus, the PrimeTrip VD1 has 14 days of emergency parking surveillance, which is still a fairly solid quantity of juices for a camera that does not even need to be connected. To help give it a longevity, Baseus equipped the camera with a motion sensor, so it does not record all the time. Instead, it will rush when the movement or impact is detected, then automatically records 30 seconds of the front and rear cameras. BASEUS says that its camera can store up to 20 events, a total of 40 clips. These images cannot be looked at remotely (there is no 5G on this thing), but it can be downloaded via Wi-Fi on an application. You should also know that there is a difference in resolving the front and rear camera; The front is 4K and the rear camera is 1080p.

I no longer have a car, but if I did, it looks like a solution for which I can really opt, especially because I can’t really afford a car with integrated safety like the genus Tesla puts in its electric vehicles. This may not give you total peace of mind while you are far from your vehicle for long periods, but a helping hand (or at least confirmation that someone stole your catalytic converter) does not hurt.
