According to the Office of the Attorney General, the incidents took place from August 2024 to May 2025. The investigation and the proceedings were based on a reference by Illinois Gaming Board.

The case remains in progress while men will make their first appearance in court this month. The public was invited to remember that the defendants are presumed innocent until guilt is proven by a court.
