The Spanish region of Valencia was struck by more bad weather, a year after deadly floods killed more than 230 people there.

A red alert has been set up while Storm Gabrielle hits the region. Images show flood waters in certain parts of Valence and Zaragoza, in the neighboring region of Aragon.

The meteorological agency AEMET said that between 160 and 200 mm of rain had fallen in six to eight hours around the Ebro Delta.

No injury has been reported, but schools, libraries and parks are closed on Monday in Valence.
