Trump gives the deadline for Hamas on Sunday to accept the Gaza Peace Plan

US President Donald Trump gave Hamas a firm deadline to accept an American peace plan for Gaza, saying that “all hell” will break out against the group otherwise.

Trump wrote on his Truth social platform on Friday that an agreement was to be concluded by 6:00 p.m. Washington time (10:00 p.m. GMT) on Sunday.

The plan offers an immediate end to fighting and liberation within 72 hours following 20 living Israeli hostages held by Hamas – as well as the hosts of hostages considered dead – in exchange for hundreds of Gazans detained.

The Arab and Turkish mediators are supposed to press Hamas for a positive response to the proposal, but a senior figure of Hamas said that the armed group is likely to reject it.

“If this last chance agreement is not concluded, all hell, as no one has ever seen before, will break out against Hamas. There will be peace in the Middle East in one way or another,” wrote Trump in The Truth Social Post.
