Trump says that DC museums are too “awakened”

In a social article of truth, President Donald Trump called for a review of the museums of the institutions of Smithsonian, criticizing their representation of American history as “horrible” and saying that they focus too much on “how slavery was”. The White House says that it plans to finish its examination process in early 2026, before the celebrations of the country’s 250th anniversary.
The BBC went to the National Museum of African-American History and Culture in Washington DC to ask visitors what they did with comments from the President and their experience of exhibitions inside.
