President Donald Trump sent federalized troops from California to Oregon after a court rejected his attempted deployment of the National Guard in Portland.

The deployment bypassing the ordinance of a judge who blocked the deployment of troops in Portland by rather using members of the National Guard who are already in Los Angeles after the summer demonstrations.

California Governor Gavin Newsom has promised to submit a pursuit of maneuver, which he described as “breathless mistreatment of law and power”.

Portland is the last American city – many of which are led by Democrat – targeted in the repression of the president’s crime. He argued that troops are necessary to restore peace in the midst of current demonstrations against the application of immigration.

The Pentagon confirmed that 200 members of the California National Guard were reallocated in Portland to “support immigration forces and American customs and other functions of federal personnel exercising official functions”.

“President Trump has exercised his legitimate power to protect federal assets and staff in Portland following violent riots and attacks against the police,” said White House spokesperson Abigail Jackson.

She attacked Newsom, saying that he should “stand up for laws respectful of laws instead of violent criminals destroy Portland and cities across the country”.

During the summer, there were major demonstrations daily in Los Angeles after the city became a target of increased immigration raids. Trump deployed the State National Guard to suppress the troubles in June, an important decision because deployments are generally the responsibility of the governor of a state. Newsom argued that the use of the army in Los Angeles was not necessary and inflamed tensions. Trump said it had saved the city to burn on the ground.

The Trump administration redeployed these same troops which were still in Los Angeles in Portland.

“It is not a question of public security, it is the power. The commander -in -chief uses the American army as a political weapon against American citizens,” Newsom said after Trump sent the troops to Portland, accusing the president of ignoring the courts.

“We are going to take this fight in court, but the public cannot remain silent in the face of such reckless and authoritarian conduct by the President of the United States.”

Demonstrations have continued in Portland and other cities concerning the increase in immigration application of the Trump administration. Portland, in particular, has long attracted Trump’s anger to his alleged concentration of people whom his supporters describe as an antifa, abbreviated as “anti-fascist”. The president recently signed a decree designating the group, which is a vaguely organized movement of far -left activists, as a domestic terrorist organization.

The deployment of Portland occurred one day after Trump authorized the deployment of 300 troops of the National Guard in Chicago to approach what he says to be a crime outside control.

Chicago has also experienced manifestations concerning an increase in the application of immigration. The demonstrations became violent on Saturday, the immigration authorities saying that they opened fire on an armed woman after she and others have hit their cars in law enforcement vehicles.

The state of the woman is not clear, but the officials said that she went to the hospital.

The leaders of the State and the premises decried the deployment plans of Trump and called it an abuse of power. Illinois governor JB Pritzker said Trump “was trying to make a crisis.”

GOV Pritzker told CNN on Sunday that the authorization of the troops would encourage it. He accused the administration of creating a “war zone” to rationalize the answer.

“They want chaos on the ground. They want to create the war zone so that they can send even more troops,” he told Jake Tapper de CNN. “They use each lever at their disposal to prevent us from maintaining order.”
