Trump to federalize 300 members of the Illinois National Guard before the expected deployment in the democratic state

The Trump administration plans to federate 300 members of the Illinois National Guard, said Democratic JB Pritzker on Saturday.
Pritzker said the goalkeeper had received a word from the Pentagon in the morning that the troops would be called. He did not specify when or where they were deployed, but President Donald Trump has long threatened to send troops to Chicago.
“This morning, the Ministry of War of the Trump Administration gave me an ultimatum: call your troops, or we will,” said Pritzker in a statement. “It is absolutely scandalous and non -American to demand that a governor send military troops within our own borders and against our will.”
A spokesperson for the Governor’s office said that she could not provide additional details. The White House and the Pentagon did not answer questions about the Pritzker Declaration.
The climbing of federal police in Illinois follows similar deployments in other parts of the country. Trump deployed the National Guard to Los Angeles during the summer and as part of his takeover of the police in Washington, DC, in the meantime, the troops of the Tennessee National Guard should help the police of Memphis.
California governor Gavin Newsom continued to stop the deployment in Los Angeles and won a temporary block before the Federal Court. The Trump administration appealed to the decision that the use of the guard was illegal, and a panel of three judges from the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals in the United States said that it thinks that the government is likely to prevail.
Pritzker described Trump’s move to Illinois “manufactured performance” which would distance troops from the national guard of the state of their families and regular jobs.
“For Donald Trump, this has never been a security question. This is a control,” said the governor, who also noted that the state, the county and the application of the local law coordinated to ensure the safety of the BroadView installations of US immigration and customs on the periphery of Chicago.
Federal officials reported that 13 people protesting on Friday near the establishment, who was frequently targeted during the rise in the administration of the application of immigration this fall.
Trump also said last month that he sent federal troops to Portland, Oregon, calling the city ravaged by war. But local officials have suggested that many of his claims and publications on social networks seem to rely on images of 2020, when demonstrations and disorders seized the city after the murder of George Floyd by Minneapolis police.
City and state officials continued to stop deployment the next day. US district judge Karin J. Imgergut heard arguments on Friday, and a decision is expected during the weekend.
Trump has federal 200 troops of the National Guard in Oregon, but so far, he does not seem to have moved to Portland. They were seen training on the coast in anticipation of a deployment.
