Trump’s Department of Labor supports American workers with the image of workers generated by AI

The Labor Day is coming and to celebrate, the Trump Administration Department recently published a blog post announcing the achievements of the American worker while subtly giving us an overview of their vision of the future of American labor.

“On the day of labor, we stop to recognize the achievements, contributions and sacrifices of workers’ men and women who have continued the American dream for future generations,” said the position.

When the post increased a few days ago, it included an image of what appeared at first glance. However, the daily beast has dug, however, and noted that the image that the government had used was an image generated by AI from Adobe, nicknamed “the American welder at work Sparks Fly Patriotism Metal Industry Manufacturing”.

Shortly after the publication of the original blog, the website was then updated, and the image was changed by what seems to be a real human worker doing real human work. The Wayback machine, however, always shows the original image.

Thus, the Trump administration apparently thinks so much of American workers that it cannot even take the time to find a real image of one for its promotion of the Labor Day. This follows, given that the same administration also has dense ties with the AI industry, which, as far as anyone can see, mainly focuses on the automation of jobs in various fields, thus leading to replacement, and not to use of American workers.

Gizmodo has contacted the Labor Department to comment and update this story when we receive an answer.

Trump has always adopted support for managers of American blue passes, while representing the interests of organizations and people whose policies are harmful to this very demographic. Trump also promised a “golden age” in the United States “puts American workers first”. However, the economy does not seem to be in a very good place at the moment, and, like the worker generated by AI who once decorated the government’s website, his gains can be largely illusory.
