Visa card holders get the first crack at the World Cup tickets from today

Football fans hoping to see a World Cup match next summer must have a visa card in their wallet to have the first crack at brand tickets.

The World Cup will take place in June and July in Canada, the United States and Mexico

That knowing because the prevented lottery of the FIFA World Cup in 2026 opens for holders of Visa cards

The lottery is one of the three ways that Canadians can get tickets – but it’s around the world, so getting tickets will gain patience, research and a lot of luck.

From Wednesday, holders of adulthood visa cards from around the world can enter a draw to buy presale tickets. The candidates have until 11 a.m. HE on September 19 to participate in the draw.

Fans will receive an email later this month if their draw has succeeded and will have a window to buy tickets.

Each candidate selected will be limited to four tickets per game, for a maximum of 10 games.

The cheapest available tickets will start at US $ 60 (more than $ 80 CDN), according to FIFA.

The FIFA website offers a video explaining the drawing process.

FIFA provides that a million tickets will be available as part of this process. Athletics reports that this represents around 15% of the overall seats to be filled through the World Cup.

Additional ticket offers will follow after the draw of the visa -related presale.

The World Cup will take place in June and July with matches in three countries – Canada, the United States and Mexico. The games hosted in Canada will be in Toronto and Vancouver.
