Wasim Akram names his 5 best strikers in world cricket

Few of the history of cricket appreciated the aura and the domination that Wasim Akram transported throughout his illustrious career. Known as “Sultan of Swing”, Akram terrorized the strikers through the generations with its late movement, its fiery rhythm and its infallible precision. With more than 900 international counters, it is widely considered to be the greatest fast launcher in the left arm that the game has ever seen.
During his days of play, Akram played some of the best talents of strikers in world cricket. Destructive work accidents to technical masters, he faced adversaries who tested his skills and mental strength in each format. After having known these first -hand battles, Akram recently opened on the Cricket Podcast and revealed the five strikers he considers the best he has ever seen.

While many strikers made life difficult for him, Akram said that some names stood out from their ability to dominate, innovate and get up when it was most. His list includes two players from the Antilles and one of each India, Sri Lanka and New Zealand.
Sir Vivian Richards – Intrepid and explosive
The legend of the Antilles Sir Vivian Richards Tops Akram’s list. Known as one of the most intimidating strikers of all time, Richards has often dismantled the best bowlingal attacks with a power and a boastful. He never worn a helmet against the fastest quarrers of his time, marking 8,540 trials and 6,721 ODI races in an era dominated by rapid questions.
Martin Crowe – The Kiwi technician
New Zealand Martin Crowe impressed Akram by its exceptional technique and its elegance to the fold. A true craftsman of the striker, Crowe played a key role in the lifting of kiwi cricket in the late 1980s and early 1990s. He accumulated 5,444 essays and more than 4,700 ODI races, with his captain in the 1992 World Cup, he still remembered.

Brian Lara – The Prince of Spain
Akram also chose Brian LaraThe West Indian genius famous for the rewriting of the records of strikers. His monumental blows of 375 and 400 which have not come out remain engraved in the history of the test. With 11,953 points in testing and 10,405 in ODI, Lara’s Stroke’s game – in particular its brand cover campaign – has made it a nightmare for querors through formats.
Sachin Tendulkar – The god of cricket
India Sachin Tendulkar Naturally found a place in the Akram list. Master Blaster has won the hopes of an entire nation for more than two decades and is the only cricket player with 100 international centuries. Tendulkar’s adaptability and consistency brought him more than 34,000 international races, cementing his place as one of the largest of all time.
Aravinda of Silva-Sri Lanka Veritier d’Ancha
The final name in the five of Akram is Silva AravindaGiant in the Bâton of Sri Lanka in the 1990s. His brilliant blow of 107 in the 1996 World Cup final * obtained his country his first world title. With more than 15,000 international races, Silva was praised for its ability to anchor a round as well as pressurized finishing matches.
