Watch: Yash Dhull arrives in the first century of season 2 of the Premier League of Delhi | DPL 2025

The Arun Jaitley stadium witnessed a historic Sunday as Yash Dhull engraved his name in the annals of Delhi Premier League (DPL) History, breaking the first century of season 2 and propelling the kings of the center of Delhi to a memorable victory with eight titles against the attackers of the north of Delhi.

Freshly out of a season spoiled by personal setbacks and health problems, the former captain of India U -19 has returned with a point to prove – and did so in a categorical style. Chasing an intimidating target of 175, Dhull orchestrated a masterclass of striker, compiling an undefeated 101 of only 56 bullets, decorated with eight crisp fours and seven six dominant. His blow, an exhibition of finesse and power, silenced the criticisms that doubted his T20 references and were largely celebrated as a demonstration of maturity and intention.

However, the rest of the Northern Delhi striker defeated under the tight bowling of Man Grewal and Gavnish Khurana, who claimed two counters each for the Kings of the Central Delhi.

On a counter that offered little thanks to the strikers, Dhull’s effort was all the more remarkable. Not only did he end his expectations for a first century T20, but he also won the match player prize for conducting his team to a convincing victory and sent a categorical message to selectors and rivals.
