“We are a crazy team!” – Italy wins a new goals thriller with Israel

Italian manager Gennaro Gattuso admitted that the defense of his team left a lot to be desired.

“It was murder today,” he said.

“This is the craziest game with which I am involved as a coach, but it is my problem and not that of the players. If we want to play in a certain way, we have to improve. We were crazy to systematically attack, that’s what Israel was waiting for, they hit us on the counter each time. We could have defended more deeply by leading.

“We are a crazy team, because we are too fragile, we too easily conceive of ridiculous objectives. The guys know it, but it’s my problem, not theirs. ”
