We tried everything to keep it at Dallas Cowboys

Micah Parsons agent remains mystified to explain why his client is no longer a Dallas cowboy and says that the Rusher Edge has always wanted to stay with the team.
Parsons was exchanged last week at the Green Bay packers after the owner of the cowboys, Jerry Jones, refused to discuss a contract extension with agent David Mulugheta after having believed that he had already concluded a verbal agreement with the player himself.
Instead, the 26 -year -old was exchanged for the packers in exchange for the defensive platform of three times the third defensive track Kenny Clark and the first round choices in 2026 and 2027.
Parsons set for pay to Green Bay
Mulugheta negotiated a contract of $ 188 million over four years with Green Bay which makes parsons the best paid non-quarry in the history of the NFL.
“I think the most important thing is that Micah wanted to be a cowboy,” Mulugheta told ESPN “First Take” today. “He grew up by applauding the cowboys, wore blue and white to Penn State, wore him in the NFL with the Dallas Cowboys. He wanted to be a cowboy and we did everything we could to stay a cowboy.”
Mulugheta said that at no time didn’t feel like he had a verbal agreement with Jones.
He added: “If you are a 25 -year -old football player and your boss, who happens to be the most powerful NFL person, is starting to talk about contracts, it is difficult for you to put an end to this conversation. So they had a conversation. Micah nodded.
“Obviously, there is a power dynamic which is a little different there. A guy is the owner of the team and the managing director, and the other is Micah Parsons, a young 25 -year -old football player. So, I’m not sure there was bad communication there when Micah came out, but at no time did Micah believe that he was negotiating a contract.
“To expect someone like Micah Parsons to be one of the best defenders of the NFL and also a great lawyer with regard to contracts, I think it’s a bit unfair.
“His job is to go there and hunt the quarters, and our work is to go there and run the commas for him. I don’t know exactly why it was so went, but we were always prepared and open to negotiating a contract with the Jones family.”
Will Parsons be able to open the season?
Packers open their season against the Strait Lions on Sunday with Parsons who fights to be in good shape due to a back problem.
“What I’m going to tell you is that Micah will do everything he can get on the football field, in the same way as when he was in a cowboys jersey,” said Mulugheta.
