What Jimmy Kimmel is removed from air means for freedom of expression in the United States

Television host Jimmy Kimmel was withdrawn indefinitely after comments he made on the set of Charlie Kirk, said ABC.
The decision has occurred a few hours after Brendan Carr, president of the radio regulator, the Federal Commission Commission (FCC), said that Jimmy Kimmel “seemed directly to mislead the American public.”
The main democrats call Kimmel’s suspension of an attack on freedom of expression and “an abuse of power”, while the American president Donald Trump welcomed him as “a great news for America”.
The editor -in -chief of the BBC analysis, Ros Atkins, examines the role of the FCC and Trump in the decision to suspend the show.
