Yoro claims that Manchester United on Revenge Tour after the first campaign of the glow under Amorim

Manchester United defender Leny Yoro published a rallying cry before the new season, declaring that the team is determined to bounce back after having endured their worst league campaign in more than half a century.
The 15th place of United last season marked its lowest high flight result since their relegation to the second division in 1974.
It was a deadly year for a club in their stature, and the new boss Ruben Amorim is under pressure to stabilize the ship.
Yoro, who has had injuries since his move to Old Trafford last summer, spoke frankly about last season’s pain and renewed motivation within the team.
“When you play for Manchester United, you must have the mentality of being the best version of yourself,” said Yoro.
“I think what we did last season was a mistake for us. When you are Manchester United, you cannot be in this position. Fans know it, everyone knows. I think we understand that.
“This season will be different for us. It will be like a revenge last season. We have to do better.”
The United States’s pre-season pre-season tour brought a certain optimism, the team remaining undefeated through friendly matches against West Ham, Bournemouth and Everton.
The Amorim team has since returned to Manchester to finalize the preparations before their first Premier League match at Arsenal’s home on August 17.
The club has also invested heavily this summer, with more than 130 million pounds sterling spent to bring the duet attacker Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo.
But with these expenses, and Amorim is likely to deal with significant pressure if the results do not improve quickly.
Yoro, however, remains provocative in the face of external criticism and thinks that the team is mentally ready to go beyond the noise.
“We are a big club,” said Yoro. “There are a lot of people who want us to fail and we know it. But there are also a lot of people who want us to do it, to do great things. We just focus on fans, you know.
“We are not careful what they say outside, on the media, everyone said bulls of us last year.
“But I understand because we haven’t done really well. This season will be different, I hope for us. We don’t need to listen to this and focus on ourselves.”
