You can stay at the “Poltergeist” house, and even ask someone to haunt you

It’s been about a year since the 1982 house Poltergeist I went to the market for the first time, exciting horror fans who scrolled ownership photos, dreamed of stacking chairs in the retro-contented kitchen and wondered if anything suspicious was unearthed during the construction of this backyard swimming pool. It was fun, but it is even better: in the great tradition of stays on the theme of cinema, the independent house is now available to book on Airbnb, with an old massive television broadcasting static (if you dare) and a clown doll (if you know, you know).
THE Poltergeist HOUSE – Located in Sim Valley, not in the fictitious and poorly planned suburbs of “Cuesta Verde” – has a dedicated website, lots of glorious photos that reaffirm how much the essence of the 43 -year -old film still lives within its walls. He sleeps up to eight guests (there are four bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms), so if you can bring together a group, this would make the starting price of $ 800 per night a little more manageable. He also has equipment in Gogo, including a swimming pool (without skeleton, in appearance) and a whirlpool.
The best convenience of all, however, is very specific to Poltergeist Home. Depending on the Airbnb page, your stay can include “tailor -made organized experiences with static lit portraits, visits, film screenings or a night that feels … watched.” Why not conduct a paranormal investigation while you are there? (It was done: the house welcomed an episode of Ghost adventures Who was broadcast earlier this year on Discovery Channel, and of course, you saw what happened in the film itself.)
Even if you cannot swing a trip to Los Angeles to please your television fantasies, you can always mumble “they are heeeeeer!” And “you play at my frequency” for yourself while enjoying the images. Here are our favorites; Head to the Poltergeist House to see them all and discover how to book your stay.
