You will want to slap the action camera the size of a DJI pin everywhere

Finally, the action cameras become small enough so that we can transport them on our body without you entanglement in a greasy frame in the shape of a simple jury -shaped jury. Dji copied the duties of Insta360, then unleashed with its new Magnetic Portable Camera Osmo Nano. There are a few features that could make it your next spy cam, however, as always with Dji, you will not see it available in the United States

Dji is best known for drones, but its Gopro type action cameras, such as OSMO Action 5 Pro, made me come back. As previous leaks have suggested, this Osmo Nano camera the size of an insect focuses on a small wallpaper called multifunctional vision dock via magnets. This means that you can position it forward or back for sequences of selfie or point of view. The real advantage of the magnetic camera is that you can set up a surprising variety of frames, as long as you have another magnet or a ferromagnetic metal at hand. Of course, you can attach it to your head, but we all know that you will try to stick it on your cat’s collar.

Although you can say that OSMO Nano is a continuation of the old miniature DJI Action 2 camera, the drone manufacturer takes more Go ultra indices from the Insta360. The OSMO Nano includes a 1/3 inch sensor, slightly larger than the 1/1.28 inch sensor on Go ultra. It will draw until a 4K and 120 IPS resolution at a maximum wide angle of 143 degrees to capture all your puffs without any manipulation. It supports 13.5 dynamic range stops as well as 10-bit color and D-LOG for colors accuracy.

I became practical with the OSMO Nano in IFA 2025, although I could not capture images. The pod weighs 52 g, so it is surprisingly light despite its size of 55 mm. Although the DJI Osmo Nano is slightly larger than the action pod for the Insta360 GB Ultra, it compensates for this in several key ways. The GO Ultra is limited to a maximum shot of 60 IPS at 4K. On the one hand, the device includes integrated storage, as well as access to a microSD card. It can also connect with one of the popular microphones of DJI, like its recent MIC 3, without a receiver. The device also supports gestural controls that will start to record if you nod. Otherwise, you can tap the top of the pod or press the small recording button.

The OSMO Nano promises to record for 200 minutes at 1080p and 24 IPS, but face it, you will want to save everything in 4K for better image quality. The POD must be between 55 and 60 minutes at 4K and 30 IPS. With these specifications, you will eventually need to load it more often than you think. At least, it supports a fast charge which promises to reach 80% in 20 minutes.

The only problem is that DJI is still not shipped the OSMO Nano to the United States at launch. The company has repeatedly declared that it was “attached to the American market”, although the federal government has prohibited its products from entering the States. It’s a shame, because the modular action camera starts at $ 300 with 64 GB of integrated storage on Amazon. The rest of the world can play with Dji’s little camera, while we, in the United States, have to count on competitors.
