Belgium have sacked manager Domenico Tedesco after less than two years in charge – and Arsenal and France legend Thierry Henry is said to be one of the favorites to take over.
Former RB Leipzig manager Tedesco has been let go after disappointing results, including last 16 exit at the European Championship last year and poor performance in the Nations League.
The Italian has won just two of his last 10 games and has fallen out with Real Madrid midfielder Thibaut Courtois, who said last summer he would not play under Tedesco again.

Henry previously worked as an assistant coach for Belgium under Roberto Martinez and his most recent role saw him take over the French men’s Olympic team for the 2024 Olympics.
A statement from CEO Peter Willems said: “The search for a replacement is underway.
“Unfortunately, the Red Devils did not perform as we expected at Euro 2024, as they did in the next Nations League campaign.
“Domenico started very well as a national coach and proved that good things are possible, even if he is removed from the previous generation. He has included many young players in the team, and his successor can strengthen this.”
Tedesco predicted big things for the team he left behind, adding: “A beautiful journey has now unfortunately ended.
“This team is still at the beginning of its development and will be interesting for years to come. I wish the players, the community and the fans the best from the bottom of my heart.”
