TikTok calls to its US users late last week back to the encore with no clear end in sight. But, it has now been joined by a few copycats, including X (formerly Twitter). X announced on Sunday night Elon Musk’s private (see here) that its US users now have a dedicated tab for static videos.
The new video is available in the top bar of the program represented by the play button. Previously, users had to click on a video and scroll up or down to view more information – this limited the selection of the original video. The expansion adds to X’s existing video content, including its TV app, which is away from interest.
Bluesky is also trying to take advantage of TikTok’s uncertainty by announcing new stand-up videos on Sunday. “We had to join the video, too – Bluesky now has a video feed! Like any other feed, you can choose to embed this or not. Bluesky is yours to change,” the company said. post. Users can find vulnerable videos on the Explore page by clicking on the feed.
